Please consult your doctor.No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease. However, use of Risofos 35mg Tablet is not advised in severe kidney disease patients.

Liver

Risofos 35mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Risofos 35mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

How to use Risofos Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Risofos 35mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

How Risofos Tablet works
Risofos 35mg Tablet is a bisphosphonate. It acts by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts, cells that cause the destruction of bone, thereby strengthening the bones and minimizing the risk of fractures.

Side Effects:

Common Musculoskeletal (bone, muscle or joint) pain, Headache, Heartburn, Difficulty in swallowing.

Take Risofos in the morning on an empty stomach with water. Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after taking Risofos. Maintain an upright posture for 30 minutes after taking Risofos. Inform your doctor if you experience pain in jaw, throat, chest, abdomen, hips or thighs. Inform your doctor if you are about to undergo any major dental procedures, as Risofos may need to be discontinued temporarily.
